However, the air conditioning blew directly onto the bed which was a bit uncomfortable. The service was great, with discreet help available 24/7 for any queries. The location was out of this world, near the beach, and with lovely grounds and pools. The dining experience was also out of this world, offering a delicious a la carte style meal. Overall, a fantastic experience with a few minor room comfort issues.
The hotel was a luxury in the morning with fabulous spacious and fancy rooms, including a master and junior suite adjacent to each other for our family stay. The service was extremely helpful and professional while the location had great views across beautiful grounds, pools, and the Indian ocean. The dining experience was surprisingly outstanding, offering delicious options of Sri Lankan and Western breakfasts. A delightful stay overall with some minor downsides.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The surroundings were lovely with passing wildlife, but this also brought along some bugs. The rooms did not offer ideal ventilation, which made it uncomfortable at times.
Our family stay in the hotel was a fantastic experience. The rooms were fabulous, providing ample space for us to relax. We enjoyed the verandah for breezy evening reads. However, the breeze did not always hit the bed comfortably. It was delightful to see peacocks, squirrels, and even monkeys passing by the trees near our room.
